The unique Grade II listed 17th Century former coaching Inn has recently undergone an extensive renovation which included the addition of a wonderful character extension.

For your dining and reception, Mounton Brook Lodge is light, airy and spacious. With exposed stone walls, mellow wood beams & beautiful high vaulted ceilings, the venue is the ideal location for your special event.
Beautiful chandeliers create a stunning lighting ambiance blended with the glass arch window for a stunning mix of traditional and modern.
Following the remarkable renovation, Mounton Brook Lodge has retained its authenticity albeit, with a spectacular modern twist.
The attached Old Forge stone C17th barn which was formerly a blacksmiths is licensed to host Civil Ceremonies, Partnerships and Blessings for up to 100 guests.
It has a beautiful vaulted ceiling with rustic beams, exposed stone walls and a large balcony overlooking the lower level with sweeping neutral drapes which create a soft and romantic feel.
Mounton Brook Lodge and The Old Forge Ceremony room is a fusion of rural idyllic and modern style, this charming venue is truly bespoke; making it a fabulous place in Chepstow for your dream wedding day or a private event.

Everything was fantastic: the decorations – the tables – the chairs – the lighting – the dance floor – the food, the desserts – the band – the photographer – the flower arrangements (both in the church and at the marquee) – the welcome drinks – the wine – the bar – the cheese and snacks – the flower girl (and the Maid of Honor!) – The lights on the beautiful majestic trees outside – the views outside. Everyone working the wedding, from the band, the photographer, the florist, the waitress staff, the chef, were all first rate – very professional, but also extremely personable and friendly. Everyone who attended said it was the best wedding ever, and we agree! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Charlotte for helping to make it all go off without a hitch and in such spectacular fashion!
I’m sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye when we left, the end of the evening is a bit of a blur as we were so exhausted and weren’t really thinking straight at that point.
We’re so happy we chose you to help organise our wedding, you’ve been absolutely brilliant and we couldn’t fault anything on the day, it was all perfect.
Everyone remarked how lovely it was too so thank you so much for all your hard work.

Charlotte made our daughter & her Fiancés (Hannah & Mitch) wedding such wonderful experience. We approached her about 16 months before the wedding date & right from the very start when we were looking for a venue, Charlotte was brilliant in helping us to find the ‘right place’ for Hannah & Mitch. She helped with anything and everything that was asked of her- & nothing was too much trouble to organise!
Come the day, (30th July) Charlotte gave us all the most brilliant day.
She made sure that every little detail was perfect. When we all walked in it all looked beautiful.
The chefs were brilliant – the 3 course food was amazing- beautifully presented, plentiful & served quickly! Everybody thoroughly enjoyed it, as well as the evening BBQ. The DJ was brilliant too.
Charlotte and her staff worked tirelessly making sure that everyone was happy & having a good time.
It was the most fabulous day & evening.
